I’m Lauren Powell , and I’m so excited to be competing in the Juneteenth Pageant , representing Wylie Texas. I’m passionate about playing tennis and love any chance to grow and make a difference.

Fun fact: I self taught myself to do the splits both ways!

The Miss Teen Juneteenth Wylie Pageant is more than a competition; it is a celebration of heritage, culture, and community. Our mission is to empower young Black women by providing a platform for them to express their individuality, showcase their talents, and embrace their cultural identity. Through this pageant, we aim to inspire confidence and leadership, fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment in each participant.
Since its inception, the Miss Teen Juneteenth Wylie Pageant has been a beacon of hope and empowerment in the Wylie community. We are dedicated to honoring the historical significance of Juneteenth while paving the way for future generations to thrive. Our pageant not only highlights the beauty and talent of our contestants but also serves as a reminder of the strength and resilience of the Black community.
